Abstract

The book is about time management and suggests many practical tips to manage time efficiently, as trying to do everything is neither feasible nor desirable. The metaphor, ‘eat that frog’, has been used for tackling the most challenging task of your day. The most critical task brings in procrastination, hence addressing that task early in the day helps increase productivity by organizing the rest of the day systematically. To focus on priority jobs is the key to success. The basic idea of the book revolves around taking action for the job that demands attention and developing habits of success namely, decision, discipline, and determination. Discipline yourself to practice the 21 principles, which have been mentioned in the book as a separate chapter for each principle, over and over until they become automatic. The book suggests focusing and determining one most important task to be completed each day and finishing it before other not-so-critical tasks, to achieve success in life.
